In the computer technology market of today it is difficult to define the line between a good computer purchase and a bad one. When you or your business has to make a critical computer purchase are you going to be able to be 100% secure and satisfied with the purchase that you make? If your answer is: “I don’t know”, “I’m not sure” or “Maybe”, then you need to consider a few items of concern before purchasing your next computer or computer related equipment. For instance, when you purchase a pre-made or “manufactured” computer from stores such as Best Buy, Circuit City, Wal-Mart and so on, you must consider that these machines are offered at such low prices because the components and the manufacturing labor used in making these machines is contracted to those companies that can produce these machines with as little cost to the manufacturer as possible. (i.e. Dell, or HP, do not manufacture their computers in the U.S. they bid out the work to the companies that will do it for the cheapest, as well as the components that are in them.) So essentially you get a machine manufactured in a third world country with the lowest quality parts that money can buy, and then a HP or other label is slapped on it, and there you have your $499 computer from Wal-Mart.
